CHRISSYS RESTAURANT - LAGOA - FOR THAT SPECIAL NIGHT OUT
Only 5 minutes from Carvoeiro by taxi this is a gem of The Algarve. Perfect for an unrushed meal and that special occasion - take the trip and you will not be disappointed.
Chrissys is one of the best restaurants in the Carvoeiro region, situated in Lagoa it is a five minute ride away.
Since December 2008, Debbie and Louis have been the new owners of Chrissy's Restaurant. The ambience is one of relaxed, gourmet dining in a stylish restaurant with attentive service.
The cuisine is a gastronomic mixture of Belgian and french dishes, with weekly changing Chef's Suggestions and specialities including fried chicken livers with foie gras or seafood Thermidor as entrees and fillet of lamb with honey-mint sauce and fried sole with asparagus as main dishes.
The dishes are beautifully presented and accompanied by an extensive Portuguese wine list. Choose from a main course and a dessert at 25€, a three course meal at 32€ or four courses at 36€. Prices include couvert, house wine, water and coffee.
Chrissy's also specializes in private functions and is a favourite with residents and discerning tourist alike, offering a dining experience not to be forgotten.

BRADYS IRISH BAR - CARVOEIRO

Restaurant A Ria has been run by Humberto since March 2011. Having gained over 25 years experience in the catering industry Humberto brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to A Ria.
After gaining his teaching qualifications in Wigan and Leigh College, he worked for 5 years teaching catering and food hygiene in Braintree college, taking students on work experience to places such as Royal Ascot and St Andrews.
In A Ria, Humberto has implemented a high standard of traditional Algarvean food such as cataplanas (meat or fish), monk fish rice, cuttlefish and clams as well as a wide variety of charcoal grilled fresh fish and a good selection of meat dishes. All cooked fresh and served in the traditional restaurant or terrace.
To complement the food a good selection of quality wines are available for all tastes to accompany any dish.
In addition A Ria will accept dishes on request (not on the menu) but will require 24hrs notice
Situated along the quayside it is a great place to eat when visiting Ferragudo.
